Rug with kefir jam. Gingerbread with jam: recipe for making Oriental gingerbread with jam

Rug with kefir jam. Gingerbread with jam: recipe for making Oriental gingerbread with jam

If you have kefir in the refrigerator that no one drinks anymore, and it’s a pity to throw it away because the expiration date has not yet expired, it’s time to recycle this product for all kinds of baked goods. Another main ingredient of our dish is jam. The simplest thing you can bake with kefir and jam is gingerbread.
It does not require expensive ingredients and always turns out successful and tasty. And if you use your imagination and coat it with cream, you will not have a gingerbread, but a real pie. We offer you a recipe for a delicious kefir gingerbread with jam and sour cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 glass of kefir,
  • 1 cup of any jam (in in this case– raspberry-cherry),
  • 1 glass of sugar (half a glass will go into the dough itself and the same amount into the cream),
  • 2 cups of flour,
  • 3 level teaspoons of soda,
  • 1 glass thick sour cream.

Preparation

Mix kefir and sugar in a convenient deep bowl.

You definitely need to take a deep container, you will understand this yourself during the process of preparing the dough. Stir with a spoon or fork. We wait until the sugar is completely dissolved and add soda. Mix again. Literally before our eyes, the kefir-sugar mass increases significantly.

This indicates that the fermented milk product has extinguished the soda. However, the magic doesn't end there. Add jam to the bowl, mix and watch how the dough “grows”.

And here the deep container you took for kneading the gingerbread will come in handy. Next add flour.

Bring the dough to a thick sour cream state. It should turn out similar to what you would mix for flour pancakes.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, transfer the dough into a baking dish and place in the oven for half an hour.

Bake at a temperature of 165-170 degrees. Check readiness with a toothpick or match.
While the gingerbread is cooking, make the sour cream. To do this, beat sugar with sour cream.

When the gingerbread is baked, take it out of the oven, remove it from the mold and cut it into two parts while still hot.

While it has not cooled down, grease one part with sour cream, cover the second and also put cream on it.

Now we need to let our baked goods soak thoroughly, for which we put them in the refrigerator for three to four hours. Instead of sour cream for impregnation, you can use condensed milk, but in this case, do not put sugar in the dough. It will turn out very sweet.
Eat for yourself and treat your guests. Bon appetit!

The recipe for this jam pie is quite economical. Products for such baking are almost always available at home. The jam mat is very easy to prepare, but it turns out so tasty that everyone in the household will love it.

Ingredients

To prepare a jam pie you will need:

1 cup jam (I made it with apricot jam, but any jam will do);

1 tsp. soda;

1 glass of kefir;

0.5 cups sugar;

2 cups of flour;

powdered sugar for serving.

Glass - 250 ml.

Cooking steps

Add soda to the jam and stir, the mass will change color and increase in volume.

Add sugar, kefir and eggs, mix the resulting mass well with a whisk until smooth.

The dough will be homogeneous and will resemble thick sour cream.

Line a baking pan with parchment (I have a pan size of 20x20 cm) and pour out the dough.

Bake the pie crust with jam for 40-45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. You can check the readiness with a wooden skewer by inserting it into the baked goods and then removing it and it will remain dry, which means our gingerbread is ready.

Remove from the oven, remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack so that the bottom of the baked goods does not get soggy. The gingerbread pie with jam turns out aromatic and very tasty; when serving, you can sprinkle it powdered sugar and serve with a cup of tea or milk.

Surely you’ve heard the expression: “No price at all...”. It means disagreement, unwillingness to take someone's side or take some action. It follows that gingerbread is something very good, tasty, and valuable. Want to check it out? Then you've come to the right place!

In this article you will learn how to quickly and easily prepare delicious gingerbread! A little general information, then a selection of step-by-step recipes with photos and videos, and at the very end useful culinary tips. In general, I recommend that you read it, repeat it, and in the end you will get those same gingerbreads. Then you will pronounce the phrase mentioned at the beginning of the article with maximum awareness!

What it is

Gingerbread is a sweet and fragrant flour product that looks and tastes like gingerbread, pie, sponge cake, cupcake, in general, some kind of pastry (photos are below). Why is there such a spread? There are just a lot of recipes, different combinations that have been invented that do not necessarily meet any standards.

The classic, traditional gingerbread is made from the so-called “gingerbread dough”. The composition of such a dough usually includes honey, flour, some aromatic spices, dried fruits, etc. For tenderness, additional water, juice or brewed tea is often added.

Most often, gingerbread is presented as Lenten baking, i.e. The dough for it is made without eggs, milk, butter and other quick products. But, to be honest, it tastes better with baked goods. I also want to note that yeast is usually not added.

The gingerbread can have a complete appearance without filling (for example, like). But they often make it with filling. The finished baked goods are cut from the bottom to create two shortcakes. The lower part is covered with honey, jam or something else sweet, covered with the second part and allowed to soak for several hours. In fact, it will be even closer to cakes.

Recipes

Kefir gingerbread with jam

Simple and very affordable recipe gingerbread with jam. Yes, there is kefir and eggs. This option cannot be called lean or vegetarian. But what a yummy it turns out!

Soft and sweet, very aromatic and appetizing dough, soaked in jam. The most wonderful dessert for tea!

Any jam will do, as long as it is seedless. If you wish, you can also use store-bought jam.

Ingredients:

  • Jam – 1 glass;
  • Sugar – 1 cup (if the jam is very sweet, then less is possible);
  • Wheat flour - 1.5 cups;
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Kefir (any fat content) – 1 glass;
  • Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp. spoons (optional);
  • Baking soda – 1 teaspoon;
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon (you can use soda again);
  • Ground ginger – 0.5 teaspoon;
  • Ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon;
  • Star anise – 2 pinches;
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling;

Let's start cooking

Place jam in a bowl. By the way, the good thing about this recipe is that you can use fermented jam. Add a spoonful of soda to it, stir and leave for 10 minutes.

Now add one egg, cinnamon, ginger, cocoa, star anise. Beat everything thoroughly with a whisk or spatula.

Pour sugar into a cup with a spicy sweet mixture. If your jam is already very sweet, then you don’t need to add sugar. If it’s sour, then go with your taste preferences. But every gingerbread must be quite sweet.

Sift the flour, combine with baking powder. Add it to the sweet mass, mix thoroughly until smooth.

Place the resulting soft, slightly liquid chocolate dough into the mold. If the mold is made of metal, first grease it with vegetable or butter.

The dough was leveled and the oven was preheated to 180 degrees. Place the pan with the dough in the oven for 40 minutes. You can check the readiness with a wooden toothpick - if the dough does not stick to it, then the gingerbread is ready.

We take it out of the mold and decorate the top with powdered sugar. If desired, you can cut it into 2 shortcakes and put jam or whipped cream between them. Then it will not only be very tasty, but also amazingly beautiful!

Honey cake

And this is a classic honey cake, very tasty, porous, with a deep and sweet aroma. Here we will also make it with filling.

Why is it considered a classic? Because it contains honey. Honey used to be a more affordable sweet than regular honey white sugar etc.

Ingredients:

  • Flour – 4 cups;
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon;
  • Cloves – 1 teaspoon;
  • Soda – 1 teaspoon;
  • Honey – 200 g.
  • Sugar – 1 glass (for those with a sweet tooth);
  • Chopped nuts – 0.5 cups;
  • Jam (jam) – 0.5 cups (for filling);
  • Powdered sugar for decoration;

Preparation

Pour sugar into a large bowl and beat in 2 eggs. Grind thoroughly with a whisk until a homogeneous light mass.

Add honey, cinnamon, cloves and soda. Mix thoroughly again. If the honey is too thick, melt it in a water bath or dilute it with a small amount of warm water.

Gradually add flour, stir constantly, first with a whisk, and then with a spoon, as the dough will turn out to be thick.

Grease a baking dish with oil, place the dough in it and smooth it out well.

Sprinkle a layer of nuts on top of the dough. You can take any nuts: walnuts hazelnuts, maybe peanuts. Grind them in a coffee grinder or finely chop them with a knife.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, then place the dough in it for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.

This is how the gingerbread turns out. In theory, it can already be consumed in this form, but we will add a couple of touches that will turn this monolithic pie into a kind of cake.

Make a cut and remove the top layer of dough. Generously coat it with jam. Apple, apricot - whatever your heart desires.

Cover with the other half, press lightly, sprinkle with powdered sugar on top for beauty. All this pastry You need to put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours so that the dough is thoroughly saturated with the sweet filling.
