A dish for all occasions from everyday life to holidays - chicken with mushrooms and cheese, baked in the oven. Inexpensive, easy to prepare, tasty, suitable for any side dish.

Ingredients for chicken in the oven:

1 large chicken breast,
200 g mushrooms (wild or champignons),
1 onion onions,
100 g cheese,
3 tablespoons sour cream,
salt,
pepper,
vegetable oil 2 tablespoons.

Chicken recipe:

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Clean the mushrooms and onions.

We cut the breast into fillets, cut the fillets into plates about 5x5 cm and 1 cm thick. Grease a baking dish with oil, place the chicken in one layer, and add salt. Place the pan with the chicken in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the mushrooms into cubes and fry for 10 minutes in a frying pan in vegetable oil. Finely chop the onion, add it to the pan with the mushrooms, and fry until the onion is ready. Salt and pepper. Take out the pan with the chicken and place the mushrooms and onions on the chicken.

Grease with sour cream.

Sprinkle with grated cheese and return the pan to the oven to bake.

Bake until crispy, 10-15 minutes.

Chicken with mushrooms and cheese, baked in the oven, is ready. Serve with a side dish of vegetables, or buckwheat, or rice.

And, as an option, vegetables can be baked along with chicken. We cut potatoes, zucchini, carrots - almost any vegetables into slices, put them in the mold as the first layer, chicken on top of the vegetables and continue according to the recipe. In this case, increase the baking time by 10 minutes.
