Banana baked goods- a special section in my cookbook. Banana puree adds exceptional lightness cottage cheese casserole, tenderness for muffins, additional flavor for oatmeal cookies.

Today I offer a recipe that I love for its simplicity of execution and for the glossy chocolate sides of the finished product; the pie looks very solid.

What do you need:

  • 400 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 500 g peeled bananas ( about 4 medium sized bananas)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar (8 g)
  • 1 packet of baking powder (10 g)
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g hazelnuts
  • 250 g sugar
  • 8-10 tbsp. l. apricot jam

What to do:
Grind the hazelnuts in a blender to small pieces. Melt the butter. Separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar, then add the butter and beat again.

Make banana puree from milk and banana pulp.

Mix flour with baking powder and sift over butter mixture. Knead the dough using the dough attachment shortcrust pastry. Add banana puree to the dough and beat everything together using biscuit attachments.

Beat the whites into a stiff foam and carefully fold into the dough.

Preheat the oven to 180C.

Grease the crown mold vegetable oil. Place the dough in the pan and bake in the middle of the oven for 1 hour 15 minutes. Leave in the switched off oven for another 10-15 minutes.

Transfer the finished biscuit to a plate.

Heat the apricot jam over low heat. Using a pastry brush, brush the top, inside and side surfaces of the cake with jam.

Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Make sure that water does not get into the chocolate under any circumstances. Spread the melted chocolate over the apricot jam. The chocolate will take about an hour to harden.

This cake is great for decoration. While the chocolate has not hardened, you can lay out various patterns of nuts and candied fruits that suit the occasion. The cake looks simply amazing with candles burning on it in a circle.

  • a third of a glass of cream;
  • 230 g dark chocolate;
  • vanilla bag

Steps to make banana chocolate cake:

  1. First you need to combine flour with cocoa, sugar and baking powder. Add salt to the resulting mixture.
  2. Next, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add the oil, vanilla, bananas, water and milk. Mix the products thoroughly.
  4. Then mix the resulting mass well with the bulk mixture in a large bowl. Knead the dough using a whisk or mixer.
  5. Pour the pie mixture into the mold and bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
  6. When the dessert is ready, it is recommended to remove it from oven and cool.
  7. For the glaze, melt the chocolate, add butter and cream, mix the ingredients until smooth.
