At the end of the 19th century, the Columbian Exhibition, popular at that time, was held in Chicago, at which one very rich lady asked the head chef of the event to come up with and serve her an unusual dish. The essence of her order is that the food, firstly, must certainly be of a small format, and secondly, it can be eaten during the entire excursion exhibition. It was then that the very first brownie was prepared, which included flour, eggs, butter, chocolate, apricot jam, nuts. The recipe instantly spread throughout America, and later was borrowed by skilled housewives from other countries. Since then, many years have passed and, of course, the recipe has been significantly changed. Today we will cook chocolate brownie with cherries, and with cottage cheese and cherries in a slow cooker.

Not everyone will like this pie, so we offer our own brownie recipe, in this case with cottage cheese and cherries.

  4. Combine the remaining sugar, eggs and a little salt in a deep bowl. Whisk thoroughly until fluffy.
  5. Pour the cooled chocolate butter into the sweet egg mixture, mix.

One of the most delicious and popular desserts is brownie, a chocolate cake that originated in North America. Its highlight is the rich chocolate taste and moist structure, as well as the ease of preparation. If you bake brownies in a slow cooker, you can reduce the risk of the dough drying out, since it creates more moisture than an oven. But is this enough to make this dessert submit to an inexperienced hostess?

If we consider in detail the set of products for this dessert, it is easy to understand that it is based on a classic biscuit, only with the addition of cocoa, as well as milk. But this is not the main thing in brownies, but the need to carefully monitor the baking time and temperature - you should get a dense crust and a soft, very moist middle. The basic recipe brownie in the Redmond slow cooker has been appreciated by several hundred housewives, so it has a chance to become your favorite. Important - baking powder in traditional recipe really not, because such a dessert does not differ in splendor.

Ingredients:

  • eggs 1 cat. - 3 pcs.;
  • flour - 300 g;
  • milk - 200 ml;
  • sugar - 300 g;
  • cocoa - 100 g;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • vanilla sugar - 15 g.

Cooking method:

  1. Sift flour three times, add both types of sugar to it (leave 2 tablespoons) and cocoa. Mix well.
  2. Combine the remaining sugar with eggs, beat with a mixer.
  3. Put the butter in the bowl of the multicooker, turn it on "Baking" and wait until it melts. Drain over beaten eggs. There is no need to rinse the bowl: just wipe it with a paper towel - oil should remain on the walls and bottom.
  4. Pour milk into the egg-butter mixture, beat again with a mixer.
  5. Leave the multicooker in the same mode and do not turn it off - it should warm up.
  6. Combine dry and liquid components, mixing with a mixer for a minute.
  7. Pour the dough into the multicooker bowl, set the timer for an hour, lower the lid. If the diameter of the slow cooker is larger than the standard one, brownies can be ready in 45-50 minutes.

From any biscuit that looks too modest alone, you can assemble a more festive dish - a cake or a full-fledged cake. Brownies are no exception: add a filling of fresh cherries, as well as soft cottage cheese, mix them correctly and you have a dessert that looks and tastes delicious. Decorate with almond petals or crushed nuts.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 4 pcs.;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • chocolate 75% - 100 g;
  • flour - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • sugar - 120 g;
  • cherry b / c - 400 g;
  • cottage cheese - 200 g;
  • vanillin;
  • almond petals - 3 tbsp. l.

Cooking method:

  1. Stir 3 eggs with 70 g of sugar until the maximum uniformity, moving the whisk in a circle, but without whipping movements.
  2. Put the butter and chocolate broken into pieces to heat in the multicooker bowl on the “Baking” with the lid up. When they dissolve and mix (remember to stir constantly to prevent burning), turn off the multicooker and drain the contents of the bowl into another container. The bowl itself needs to be rinsed.
  3. Separately, knead the cottage cheese (if you do not have a briquette, but a grain one, you need to rub it through a sieve) with an egg, sugar residues and vanilla. Whisk lightly.
  4. Pour the sifted flour into the egg mass, pour it into the chocolate-butter mixture. Stir gently.
  5. Add cherries (if it was frozen, let thaw and squeeze the berries from excess moisture), mix again.
  6. Sprinkle the multicooker bowl with flour, pour 2/3 of the volume of the chocolate mass into it.
  7. Then pour the whole curd part and the rest of the chocolate dough into the center.
  8. With a splinter or the tines of a fork, make streaks, slightly level the surface of the future brownie with a silicone spatula.
  9. Sprinkle with crushed nuts or almond flakes, lower the lid. By setting the “Baking” mode, bake the brownies for 50 minutes.

If you have figured out the classic recipes, try the French variation, which requires more care and caution - this is a brownie with a liquid center or fondant. Its highlight is the chocolate middle flowing out on the break. The original recipe is very complicated, but enterprising housewives have created a simplified version that is perfect for a slow cooker. The main thing here is to choose good chocolate, devoid of filler and having at least 85% cocoa content. Ideally, the composition of the tile should consist of only 4-5 components (which cuts off various palm oils, E-additives, etc.).

Ingredients:

  • chocolate - 200 g;
  • butter - 50 g;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • powdered sugar - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • flour - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • walnuts - 50 g.

Cooking method:

My next culinary discovery is that brownies in a slow cooker turn out better than in the oven. Ever since I made this discovery, I have been baking the glorious American brownie only in the slow cooker, often and in different ways.

The fact is that the slow cooker creates high humidity during cooking, thanks to which the brownie turns out perfectly, and you can safely experiment with fillers - add cherries, cottage cheese, nuts, or all at once. It always turns out! Today, for example, I made brownies with cottage cheese and cherries. Join.

But before we start, a few cooking rules:

- a shallow rectangular baking dish (so that the biscuit is baked as needed),
- cakes are cut into squares,
- chocolate for cooking should contain from 55% cocoa.

Preparation: 20 minutes.
Preparation: 50 minutes.
Output: 8 pieces.
In the preparation of brownies, a Brand 6051 pressure cooker with a power of 1000W and a bowl volume of 5 liters was used.

Ingredients

  • 1 dark chocolate bar (the more cocoa the better)
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour
  • 2/3 st. sugar (140 g)
  • 4 eggs
  • 400 g pitted cherries (can be frozen)
  • 180 g cottage cheese (I use low fat)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of vanilla
  • 1-2 tbsp almond petals

Cooking

Large photos Small photos

    Crack 3 eggs into a bowl (leave one for the curd filling) and add 90 g of sugar (about half a faceted glass). At the same time, you can put a bowl of chocolate and butter in a water bath, it is better to immediately break the chocolate into slices. You can also melt them in the microwave for quickness, but I prefer a more gentle heat.

    Take a whisk and gently mix the sugar with the eggs, in no case beat, just stir in a circle in one direction.

    Periodically stir the chocolate with butter, as soon as all the chocolate pieces dissolve and the mass becomes silky, remove it from the water bath.

    In another bowl, combine the components of the curd filling - 1 egg, a pack of cottage cheese and 50 g of sugar, you can also add a little vanillin.

    Stir the curd filling with a whisk, but do not beat if you like curd grains (graininess).

    Return to the egg mass, continuing to stir it with a whisk in a circle, add 2 tablespoons of flour and vanilla.

    As soon as the mass becomes homogeneous, pour in the cooled melted chocolate with butter.

    Stir the dough with chocolate, all in the same circular motions in one direction.

    Drain the resulting juice from the defrosted pitted cherries and add the cherries to the dough.

    Stir gently so that there are no sticky or crushed cherries.

    Lubricate the multicooker bowl with a small piece of butter and sprinkle with a pinch of flour.

    Pour half of the chocolate dough, or part with berries, on the bottom of the multicooker bowl, we will pour the remaining batter on top of the cake. Then pour in the curd filling. For beauty, you can expand it into islands using a teaspoon.

    If, like me, you just poured the curd filling, stir both layers in a spiral from the outer edge of the curd layer to the center.

    Drizzle the rest of the chocolate batter over the top.

    Smooth out the top layer with a spoon or silicone spatula.

    And sprinkle with almond petals on top, it is advisable to pre-fry them in a dry frying pan.

    Set the baking time to 50 minutes, or 10 minutes less than the usual time for your slow cooker.

    You need to check the readiness of the brownie with a wooden torch - chocolate chips should remain on it, and not batter. Try to pierce the cake in places where there are no cherries and cottage cheese (closer to the edge). If the torch comes out dry and without crumbs, then the cake is overcooked, and the chocolate flavor will soon disappear from it, so it is customary to undercook it in the oven until it is fully cooked. In the Brownie slow cooker, this does not threaten, baking in it never burns and does not dry out, besides, cottage cheese and juicy cherries in the filling make the cake even more moist.

    It is better to cool the finished cake directly in the multicooker bowl with the lid open. If the chocolate flavor starts to get the better of you, remove the multicooker bowl and place it on a rack so the brownie cools faster.

    The tart without baking powder is not likely to sediment, but it has a lot of juicy ingredients, so carefully remove it with a steaming container, cut into squares (the classic form of brownies) and serve with tea.
