If you want to make them more piquant, then you should add more garlic, and you can also add spiciness to the appetizer with the help of spices. After all, everyone is familiar with the popular appetizer made from cheese, eggs and garlic - and so, there’s definitely never too much garlic in it. To ensure that the taste of the finished snack does not disappoint, of course, you need fresh products, and it is better to purchase crab sticks from a trusted brand.

  • 1.5 tbsp. l. mayonnaise (sour cream)
  • 3 pinches of salt
  • 3 pinches of spices

1. Crab sticks need to be thawed if they were frozen. To do this, you don’t need to put them in warm water, just leave them at room temperature for several hours. Remove the cellophane shell from them and chop them finely.

2. Grate the cheese on a coarse or fine grater.

3. Hard-boil the eggs, peel and grate on a coarse or fine grater.

4. Place all prepared products in a bowl or small salad bowl. Peel the garlic, finely chop or press through a press, transfer to a bowl, add mayonnaise, salt and spices to taste.

5. Mix everything, try to see if there is enough in the filling.

On the eve of the holidays, any housewife thinks about how to beautifully serve dishes to the table so that they are still tasty and look elegant. Here is one of the options - tartlets with crab sticks, cheese and egg - seemingly simple and painfully familiar ingredients, but the result is a sight for sore eyes! We use store-bought tartlets; if you wish, of course, you can bake tartlets yourself. How to cook with photos step by step

Boil the eggs hard-boiled in advance - place the eggs in a bowl, add water, add a little salt and cook for 8-10 minutes. Place the eggs in cold water and let cool. After peeling the eggs, grate with medium shavings.

Choose a good quality processed cheese, grate it with medium shavings and place it in a bowl with eggs. Similarly, grate the Dutch cheese, chop the onion and throw into a bowl.

Freeze the crab sticks in the freezer, rub the sticks with medium shavings. Add the sticks to the bowl with the remaining ingredients.

All that remains is to add mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything and test for salt. I also like these.

Fill the finished tartlets with the prepared filling of crab sticks, cheese and eggs. If desired, garnish with slices of fresh cucumber. You can also sprinkle the tartlets with chopped herbs for beauty.

Serve the tartlets to the table by placing them on a beautiful cutting board or dish.
Enjoy your meal!

It is especially pleasant that such snacks are usually quite easy to prepare, since, unlike traditional table salads, the filling for tartlets should not be too complex and multi-component. After all, the baskets themselves are incredibly tasty and play one of the main roles in these dishes, which should not be filled with an excess of other ingredients. In addition, salads served in snack tartlets are convenient to take with your hands and eat without utensils while standing, and therefore they are indispensable for buffets, informal parties, and just a light snack “on the run.”

Today I want to show you how to quickly and easily make delicious snack tartlets with crab sticks as a filling. For these tartlets, it is prepared almost according to the classic recipe, but without adding rice and corn, which can give it crumbiness that is unnecessary in this case. Instead of these components, finely grated cheese is used, which combines all the ingredients into a homogeneous paste-like mass. This filling, soft in consistency, goes perfectly with the crispy crumbly shortbread tartlets, making this snack incredibly tender and tasty. And adding sweet onions and spicy garlic to the salad gives the crab filling a piquant and original fresh taste.

Useful information How to cook tartlets with crab sticks - a recipe for snacks in tartlets with crab sticks, egg, cheese and garlic with photos

INGREDIENTS:

  • 15 – 16 large shortbread tartlets (28 – 30 small ones)
  • 200 g crab sticks
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g cheese
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2 teeth garlic
  • greens to taste
  • 100 g mayonnaise

COOKING METHOD:

1. In order to prepare tartlets with crab sticks, first make the filling for them. Finely chop the crab sticks and place in a bowl.

Advice! To make the crab salad for tartlets more juicy and tasty, it is advisable to use fresh rather than frozen crab sticks or crab meat for its preparation. If possible, you should give preference to sticks called “Snow Crab”, since in most cases they have a more natural composition and balanced taste.

2. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes from the moment they boil, cool in cold water and peel them. Grate the eggs on a coarse grater and add to the crab sticks.

3. Peel the onion and chop it very finely.

Advice! For preparing salads, it is advisable to choose red or white lettuce onions, as they are sweeter and more pleasant to taste. If you plan to use regular onions, then you should take only a quarter of a small head.

4. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and add to the salad. For this snack, hard or semi-hard cheese with a sharp and/or salty taste, such as Dutch, Kostroma, Russian or Parmesan, is more suitable.

5. Add chopped herbs of your choice and garlic passed through a press. Salt the filling for crab stick tartlets and season with mayonnaise.

6. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. The result should be a fairly soft paste-like mass, which will be convenient for filling tartlets.
7. Place the crab salad into ready-made shortbread tartlets and decorate the top to your liking - a sprig of herbs, an olive, etc.

Advice! For this appetizer, you can use large tartlets that can accommodate a full portion of salad. Or you can take one-bite baskets, which are ideal for preparing a light snack and look very attractive on the holiday table.

Crispy crumbly tartlets with crab sticks are ready! They must be eaten soon after preparation, since the dough of the baskets becomes soggy during storage and loses its taste. But don’t worry, this snack turns out so tasty and appetizing that it literally disappears before your eyes :)

Cut crab sticks into small cubes.

Boil the egg hard in advance, cool, and chop.

Grate the hard cheese onto a fine grater.

Place all the ingredients for the filling in a salad bowl and add mayonnaise.

Stir the tartlet filling until all ingredients are distributed evenly.

Now let's start filling the tartlets. Using a teaspoon, carefully spoon the filling into the sand baskets, forming a mound.
