The most delicious cake ever ready-made cakes and I tried sour cream cream yesterday at a friend’s birthday party. Believe it or not, I was pleasantly surprised by such a simple and quick solution. The shortbread cake with sour cream was prepared promptly three hours before the grand celebration, and it took only 15-20 minutes to prepare.

To make this cake you will need:

3 prepared sponge cakes
- 500 grams of sour cream
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 vanilla sugar briquette
- berries, pieces of fruit, coconut, chopped nuts - for decoration
- 0.5 chocolate bars

Remove the finished sponge cakes from the original packaging. Place one on the plate on which the cake will be served, and cut the other two into cubes approximately 2-3 cm in size.

Separately prepare the cream. In a deep glass bowl, using a mixer, beat sour cream with sugar for 4-5 minutes, at the end add vanilla sugar.

Lubricate the bottom cake lying on the dish with cream and place a layer of berries and finely chopped fruit on top of it. Spill the berry layer sour cream and place cubes of sponge cake soaked in cream in the form of a slide on top.

Pour melted chocolate over the top of the formed cake, sprinkle with coconut flakes, ground nuts and decorate with the remaining berries and pieces of fruit. Place the finished cake in the refrigerator for 3 hours to soak. After three hours, the cake can be served to guests.

Preparing the dough for the cakes. Place the eggs and sugar in a mixer bowl and beat at high speed until they increase in volume.

Place honey and butter in a saucepan and put on fire.

Add flour sifted with soda and baking powder to the egg mass and mix until smooth. Add honey and butter and mix gently again.

Divide the dough into 3 parts. Bake each in a greased pan for 12-15 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. Cool and trim off dry edges. If necessary, level the top of the cakes. We leave the trimmings.

Preparing the cream. Place butter and condensed milk in a mixer bowl and mix until smooth.

Add sour cream and powdered sugar and knead again until smooth.

We chop the nuts not very finely. Grind the scraps in a blender into crumbs.

Assembling the cake. If desired, soak the cakes with plain sugar syrup(water and sugar in a ratio of 1 to 1), coat with cream and sprinkle with chopped nuts.

Coat the sides and top of the cake with cream, sprinkle with crumbs from the scraps. Decorate with walnut halves.

Ready-made cakes are just a super find for busy housewives or those who do not want to devote several hours to preparing a cake.

In any case, you will need cream. The simplest one can be made from butter and condensed milk. Butter creams, which require whipping, are a little more difficult. Cooking will take even longer custard, but it turns out to be the most economical. You can also use jam, jam, chocolate spread.

Fruit cake made from ready-made sponge cakes

Bananas and kiwi are used to fill this cake from ready-made sponge cake layers. But you can also take other soft fruits or berries: strawberries, peaches, oranges, plums, canned or fresh pineapples.

Quick cake made from ready-made sponge cakes with marshmallows

A variation of an amazing dessert made from ready-made sponge cakes. Cake with marshmallows, vanilla is used without icing and filling.

Ingredients

400 g cottage cheese;

250 ml condensed milk;

1. Combine butter with condensed milk, beat until smooth. Beat the cottage cheese separately or simply grind it. Send to cream. For taste, add a little vanilla. If the sweetness of condensed milk is not enough, you can add a little powdered sugar.

300 g sour cream;

1. Immediately pour gelatin with water at room temperature; 70-80 ml is enough for this amount. Let it swell, following the time indicated on the package.

2. Beat sugar with sour cream, add grated cottage cheese. If you use a blender, you can put everything together and beat it into cream.

3. Cut the fruit into small pieces, use the whole berries. Remove the seeds, if any.

4. Heat the gelatin in the microwave until dissolved. Pour into the cottage cheese, stir thoroughly so that this layer completely hardens during the process. Only after this add fruit, now stir carefully so as not to damage the pieces.

5. Place the biscuit in the mold and pour in the curd mixture and gelatin. Lightly level with a spatula, no need to be overzealous.

6. Place the second cake layer on top and press down.

7. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 5 hours. The inner curd layer should harden.

4. After the chocolate has dissolved, add softened butter and mix. Leave the cream to cool completely.

5. We have 50 g of sugar left. Add 100 ml of water to it and stir well. Pour cognac into the impregnation.

6. Cut the bananas into thin circles; two pieces should be enough for one layer. Place only a layer of cream on top of the cake.

If the butter does not want to soften, do not try to heat it. The product will leak and the cream will not work. It is better to place the piece in the microwave for a while, setting the “defrost” mode.

Impregnation will improve the taste of purchased sponge cake. You can cook regular syrup from water and sugar, or use compote, sweet coffee, or tea. Any impregnation will become more aromatic if you add cognac, liqueur or vanilla.

If you need to decorate the top of the cake with fruit in advance, it is advisable to treat the pieces with sweet jelly. This way they will retain their presentable appearance longer.

Step 1: prepare the flour.

In order for the dough to breathe and the cake to turn out tender and airy, the first thing you need to do is sift the flour. To do this, pour the flour ingredient into a sieve and sift it directly over a medium bowl. Continuing to whisk everything, gradually add sifted flour into the bowl in small portions so that flour lumps do not form. The consistency of the dough is like thick sour cream. Attention: The better we mix the eggs with sugar, the fluffier and more beautiful the cake crust will be.

Step 4: prepare the cakes.

So, we divide the dough “by eye” into two parts. Now turn on the oven and preheat it to temperature 180°-200°С. Grease two baking dishes well with butter, not forgetting the inner sides of the containers. Pour the dough into baking dishes and then use a tablespoon to level the surface of our future cakes. We place either one by one, or immediately (if the oven allows) baking dishes in the oven and bake the cakes for 20-30 minutes until a golden brown crust appears on the surface of the dough. Usually from one large thick cake you get another 2-3 thin ones. I usually do this according to my mood and depending on the location of my free time. After this, set the cakes aside to cool further. for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the sour cream.

Step 5: prepare sour cream.

Pour sour cream into a medium bowl and add sugar using a tablespoon and vanilla sugar. Now, using a mixer or a hand whisk, beat the ingredients until smooth. That's it, the sour cream is ready! Both simple and delicious!

Step 6: prepare homemade cake with sour cream.

So, put the first cake on a serving dish and then, using a tablespoon, apply sour cream to the surface of the cake. We level the cream with the available equipment over the entire plane of the cake and then cover it with the second cake. We repeat the procedure from the beginning and so on until we run out of cakes and sour cream. Attention: we do not spare the cream, but generously lubricate the surface of all the cakes with it. The last cake layer can be coated with cream if desired. Attention: To taste, you can decorate the cake with pieces of fruit or berries, for example, strawberries or raspberries. And now we put the cake in the refrigerator to brew and soak in the cream for 20-30 minutes.

Step 7: Serve homemade cake with sour cream.

After the allotted time for soaking the cake has passed, we take the pastries out of the refrigerator and can serve. Use oil at room temperature. There is no need to melt it.

  • Sponge cakes - 2 pcs.
  • Cottage cheese (choose fat content depending on preference) - 300-400 g.

Over the weekend I wanted to cook something tasty for tea for my family, but I didn’t really want to spend a lot of time on cooking.
In such cases, I replace some product with a ready-made industrial product so as not to waste time preparing it myself.
Today I decided to make a delicious cake from ready-made sponge cakes. This is very convenient because the most difficult part of the job of baking the base for the cake is already done, all that remains is to make the cream and decorate the cake.

For this version of the cream, I use only sour cream and ripe bananas, I don’t even add sugar, because it turns out very tasty.
We will need a few pieces of kiwi for decoration; you can replace them with other fruits, but kiwis always look very bright and attractive as a cake decoration, so most often I use them.

Let's move on to preparing the cake from ready-made sponge cakes. We will only need some simple products.

First, let's prepare a delicious sour cream with bananas.
You must take ripe bananas, because they are sweeter and softer, so the cream itself made from them will be more tasty.

Wash the bananas, peel them and cut them into pieces of arbitrary size and shape.

Place them in suitable containers. We need to turn them into a homogeneous mass, which is why hard, unripe bananas are not suitable for making such a cream. I'll just mash them with a fork. I do this because my kids love the small pieces of banana in this cake.
You can easily use a blender for this purpose, then the resulting banana puree will be without pieces and more uniform in consistency.

Now add about 250 grams of sour cream to the bowl with mashed bananas. This is exactly the amount of cream needed to grease 3 sponge cakes from the package.

Mix thoroughly again. You can, if desired, again use kitchen appliances, such as a blender or mixer, if you want the cake cream to be more airy and homogeneous. But I will use a regular fork again because my family likes it better that way.

Our sour cream and banana cream is ready.
As I already wrote above, I do not use sugar to prepare it, because by adding ripe bananas the cream turns out delicious. But if you want, you can add a little powdered sugar to the cream along with sour cream and beat everything together with a blender until smooth.

We tear off the package of ready-made cakes, there are 3 of them.
Place the first cake on a suitable sized dish.
If this does not happen, then it is quite possible to use one of the parts of the package from the cakes for this, it is ideal in size.

And evenly coat the entire surface of the biscuit with cream.

Place the second one on top of the first cake layer.

We also coat it evenly with sour cream.

We do the same with the last third sponge cake.

Our cake is almost ready, all that remains is to give it an appetizing, attractive look.

So let's move on to decoration. Wash the kiwi thoroughly, peel and cut into pieces. Today I cut the fruit into half rings, but whole circles are fine if you prefer.

Today I only use kiwi for decoration, but there are many options: you can add any fruits or berries you have at home, either fresh or frozen, or from jam, for example. Decoration is a matter of everyone’s taste, human imagination is limitless, so everyone’s cake can look different.

The daughters couldn’t wait for the cake to be ready and they themselves laid the kiwis on the top layer of the cake in a circle.

All that's left to do is remove it ready cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour so that the cakes are soaked in cream.

Ideally, of course, place the cake in the refrigerator overnight, then it will be even more delicious. But this option does not suit me and, after 1 hour, we take our cake out of the refrigerator and serve it for tea.
